Course Summary

Your Guide to Raising an Emotionally Healthy Family

We're offering a virtual support course and community for your family regardless of how old your children are, providing information and layers of support to help you to be the parent you're striving to be for yourself and your children, especially if you weren't parented the way you'd like to parent your own children. This is an International community with parents and caregivers raising children of all ages. We strive to be an inclusive community and we celebrate our diversity as the strength it is. This makes us stronger and allows us all to learn from each other just how much we all have in common despite our differences.

"I'm striving for my family to be emotionally healthy, unlike my own family when I was growing up. I want to find a way to set loving boundaries so I don't feel walked over. I need to find a way to handle feelings that feels better for us all. My goal is to have things feel better all around in my family."

If I could recommend just one resource to all families, it would be the Consciously Parenting 101: Dive into Book 1 with Rebecca Thompson Hitt. Whether you’re working to heal or integrate experiences together or you’re doing ok and just want to keep heading in that direction as your children grow, no matter how old your kids are (even if you haven’t conceived yet), this is the resource for you.

This book, Consciously Parenting: What it Really Takes to Raise Emotionally Healthy Families, touches on all the areas of family life that parents get stuck:

Feelings
Boundaries
Understanding what your child is communicating
Learning how to prioritize the relationship
And making space for your own needs to be met.

This course and membership are both growth tools that don't judge or shame, but helps you to see things in a new and healthier way.

The course includes:
8 modules, one for each of the Guiding Principles in Book 1
Each module contains about four 5-9 minute videos for a total of over 3.5 hours of content.
PDF and audio versions of the Consciously Parenting book to read or listen to on your own.
Support to guide your process through Ask Me Anything calls and Healing Story Circles to help you find your own answers.

The Guiding Principles and our Healing Story Circles for members are there to guide you to find your own answers, rather than being given another list of things to do.

You also get both the full audiobook and the PDF version so you can follow along. Exercises and practical things you can do in every module are included to help you really understand the material and apply it to YOUR family, starting today.

Starting at less than $1USD/day, you'll have access to incredible support and guidance for whatever you're working through as a parent. For the cost of a co-pay for a single counseling session, you'll have access to multiple support calls and our community to answer your questions and support your journey.

Pay what you can...

Please pay as much as you can afford to support the work we're doing here at The Consciously Parenting Project. We strive to make our information affordable for all families. If you can afford more, you're helping to support a family who might not otherwise be able to have the support, so thank you for paying more when you can.

Together we are stronger.

Together we make a difference.

Together we make the world a better place.

"My daughter was driving me pretty crazy. She was losing it over everything. This course really helped me to see what was going on for me, what was going on for her, and what she needed to regulate. She still gets upset sometimes, but it's way less often than it used to be and I am handling it all so much better!"

-Tessa, mom of 2 in South Africa

"Before being introduced to Consciously Parenting I was really struggling and living in many ways a completely unconscious life. Now I feel as though small parts of me are waking up each day and I am seeing life with new eyes. Life is by no means perfect, but there is MUCH more love, understanding, forgiveness and connection than before!"

-Inger, Consciously Parenting member and mom of 2

“Unlike the many parenting books there are, this one feels like an intimate conversation in which Rebecca sheds light in finding our unique path into relationship with our children and spouses. It is not a “how to” book, as she shares her own story along with knowledge and experience in her clients stories so that I was able to start looking within. There are 8 principles which serve as a guide. This book together with the support and the community that came through the membership helped me shift from surviving these past years into growth and finding more joy and balance in my family life.”

"I think for me it was recognising my own boundaries, around how much I was able to sit with my sons, when they were having big feelings.  Learning the content about the nervous system, I could recognise when I was starting to get triggered and take a break, instead of just pushing through and then feeling resentful, annoyed or angry myself. Learning about my boundaries and taking a break, helped me to re-centre and come back to being more present with their big feelings."

Jen Kobrick

Jen is the wife of a space geek and homeschooling mom to two little ones. She knew when she became a mom that she wanted to parent differently than she experienced growing up. She read the usual books, took classes on birth and breastfeeding, and set out to Do Parenting Right. Then she was blessed with an intense, challenging, incredible little person who didn’t do anything the way the books said he would! Jen’s early parenting journey was difficult and emotional. She was fortunate to find supportive community that helped her adapt to her son’s needs, and when she found Consciously Parenting things really began to shift in her family and in her relationships with her children and her partner. Consciously Parenting gave her the tools and framework to grow, heal, and connect with herself and her son, and to respond instead of react in intense, emotionally heated moments. As Jen has found more joy and connection in parenting, she has felt called to support other families doing this work to heal and grow, especially families of young children. When she’s not building with Lego or making another batch of dino nuggets, Jen enjoys travel, scuba diving, knitting, and ballet. Jen is a certified Holistic Family Consultant through the Consciously Parenting Project’s 2 year training program.
